Adult Team Event Winners: Ilford 1st & joint 3rd

Dear All,
Again well done to all our students who took part in the "Hanshi Cup" and our instructors who helped to make it a successful day by officiating.
At present we have no update on Docklands re-opening, but I will approach them over the next few days for any developments and get back to yo.
Ilford dojo Christmas schedule. The last session is Thursday 16th December and we return on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
Ilford Club Grading: Tuesday 14th December @ 7:30pm sharp. Students will be informed this week as to whether they can attend. Fee up-to 3rd kyu £10. 2nd Kyu £20 & 1st Kyu £25. A normal session will run concurrently. All attendees must have or applied for a license, have a clean gi & pads.
Joint-club Xmas Celebration for Adults. Saturday 18th December 7:30pm @ the Slug & Lettuce Romford (Less than a minute walk from the station). £15 payable in the dojo. We have a designated area and the fee includes food. All adult students from either dojo are invited as are any parents too, so I hope you will come along.
Annual General Meeting of the British Karate Kyokushinkai: Saturday 15th January 2022. This is a very important meeting where adult members of the association will vote on its future following the Death of Hanshi Steve Arneil. We would greatly appreciate it if all our over 16yrs olds support us in keeping the B.K.K democratic and independent.

Congratulations to all our students/instructors who took part in the “Hanshi Cup” National Clicker & Kata Tournament at Crystal Palace last Saturday. It was a nice return to what is to many, the spiritual home of BKK tournaments in the U.K. where Hanshi Steve Arneil was centre of these iconic competitions that were the stage of many famous fights and fighters. Dolph Lundgren (Sweden), Andi Hug (Switzerland), Kenny Uyutenbogaadt (South Africa) and Semmy Schilt (Holland), to name a just a few noted foreigners, not to mention the many famous British competitors.
Ilford dojo had 20 competitors taking part, 2 of which were from Docklands. I saw many of our students compete well and whether they won or lost, showed great respect to their opponent and the event with their attitude.
Below is a list of placed students, if I’ve forgot anyone, I will correct it after a prompt.
